Fabienne Lasserre grew up in Montreal, Canada, and lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Her recent solo shows include “For the Partner” (2011) at Jeff Bailey Gallery, New York, and “What is Found There” (2010), at Gallery Diet, Miami. Lasserre has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout the United States and internationally, amongst these “Come Through” (2010), at Sikkema Jenkins & Co., NY , “Foreign Object” (2010), a two-person show at Regina Rex in Queens, NY, and “Hace Mucho que No Te Veo”, a two-person show with Christy Gast at Espacio Matacuna 100, Santiago, Chile. Last winter she completed a residency at La Curtiduria, Oaxaca, Mexico. In February 2011, she participated in Essay N1, an artist residency organized by Camila Marambio, in Tierra del Fuego, Chile.
