Charley Friedman is a two time Rema Hort nominee, recipient of a Pollock-Krasner foundation grant and a recent resident of the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts. His work has been reviewed in The New York Times, White Hot Magazine, The Miami Herald,, ArtInfo, and El Nuevo Herald. Other exhibitions include Ramp and Wedge at The Queens Museum, Room #1 at White Columns in New York, Space Window at the Kantor/Feuer Project, Project Space at PS1/MOMA, A History of Performance Art at Exit Art and many others. Mr. Friedman’s work is included in the public collections of The Brooklyn Museum, The New York Public Library, Amherst College, Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery, and the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts.
